Actually this is a pretty old portrait, taken together with last [link] year. But it's one of my most favorite pictures (taken by me) ever.
Oh look, I am not picture-perfect with perfect-photoshop-skin *gasp* My skin is not perfect and I am just a 19 years old human being (with a thing for grain) so sue me but don't get all photoshop on me...

I don't know what it is to you (but I would love if you tell me) but I know what it means to me: Love, life, passion, emotions, darkness, light, music.
It's all about music. I need it like the air to breath, I need it to write, I need it to take pictures, I need it for inspiration, I need it to go along.
Music is my special need.
I am no musician (I am probably one of the most unmusical persons ever). I am a writer at heart and I try to be a photographer but music is what helps me to be.

And no, I don't poke my finger in my nose, don't even mention it.
I :heart: my headphones.

I love photos that have been un-photshopped. Makes them more visceral.

I use music to do everything an always have. Study, clean, paint, build, while working at work. I'm listening to music right now. The View by Modest Mouse to be exact.

I have DJ headphones by Jensen. They have the best sound I have ever heard in a pair of headphones. I'm going to marry them some day.

There are people that hear music and those that have the ability to feel it. To me, this portrait pays homage to those that identify with the rhythm and/or lyrics, transend the song for a moment to feel the space and passion of the song artist. I've seen your gallery several times and it is 'one' of my favorites as well. Great job.
