Well, yeah. I said I'd take a break. Well, I did. It only was a lot shorter than I thought. Actually I slept about 13 hours while listening to Counting Crows and ignoring everything and everyone, getting up and start to work at this and some other pieces. Sometimes this is a break for me.
I said I needed to do something creative again. Does this count?
I wanted to try something like that for ages. No, it´s not very original I know. And I don´t care. Surely not one of my better works but it´s a start.
The small version is crappy and I hate it but the original one is 1700x2500 and way to big to upload it here. But believe me it looks a lot better than this.
I am way to lazy to do any shadows for the flying fish right now. So. Let's just say, this is my dream and flying fish have no shadows...

Wow, this really reminds me of a music video by Kittie.
I like the darkness of it. And I like the Dali-ishness of the fish in the sky. Very nice.

junge also wenn ich was sagen darf, das is soooooooo unglaublich geil, dass es schon nicht mehr nach dir aussieht. das isn meisterwerk. ok die idee mit dem fischkopf is nich neu, aber das gesamte bild is einfach nur der hammer!

I don't think you've given yourself enough credit on this one. I think this is a great a job. And actually, I think you'd ruin it if you gave the fishies shadows. If the smaller version is any indication, I'd absolutely love to be able to see the full version.

Counting Crows are awesome aren't they? My favourite song by them out of what I've heard so far is Colourblind. I have some of their songs downloaded, and I've listened to stuff from some friends' cds, but I've yet to be a proud owner of one of thier albums - which makes me sad. I keep seeing their After August cd on sale at HMV - when I get a bit more money made, it will be mine!
